QualityAdvantages.com is an online Technical Collaborative Community that allows our members to set up unique personal profiles to facilitate effective communication and interaction between members. QualityAdvantages members can view each others' profiles, communicate with each other through chat/instant messaging, public forums and the private messaging system built into the service. The system also provides facilities to post photos, post journals and comments, upload and download files and data and other features designed to facilitate meaningful information exchange between members. QualityAdvantages members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other members and the service communicates with them.

Information Collection and Use by QualityAdvantages.com |
QualityAdvantages.com collects user submitted information such as name, email address, and age to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relative to the QualityAdvantages.com service. QualityAdvantages.com also collects other profile data including but not limited to: personal interests, gender, age, education, site URLs and other occupational details in order to facilitate and promote harmonious and productive community relationships.
QualityAdvantages.com also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes. Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. User Profile information including members' pictures and first names are displayed to people in order to facilitate more comfortable user interactions in the QualityAdvantages.com collaborative networking community. Email addresses are generally used for the purposes of sending notifications related to the service. User's email addresses are not shared or displayed by QualityAdvantages.com system. However nothing prevents a registered member from posting their email address or any other personal contact information in any of the forums on this site.
Typically registered members can communicate with each other through the QualityAdvantages.com service, without disclosing their email addresses or personal information. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members. Members are allowed to be as anonymous as they choose to be based on the conditions they set in their user control panel on the system. All of our registered members have comprehensive and customizable access to the member control panel that includes running if "invisible mode" if they so choose. To facilitate searching and finding information posted by other members, QualityAdvantages.com allows users to search for other members using their username or post content.
Additionally, we may use a user's email address to send system updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Users may opt not to receive email of this type simply by clearing their "messaging options" in the user control panel.

QualityAdvantages.com uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information. Our cookies are generally used to assist with your navigation of the site and not used necessarily to track your whereabouts for any marketing motive. QualityAdvantages.com registered users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing their user control panel to Edit Profile and Account Info. |
Email Choice/Opt-out |
Members who no longer wish to receive updates or notifications may choose not to by clearing the email notification options in the user control panel. Users who do not wish to receive QualityAdvantages.com newsletters may choose not to by entering their email address in the Newsletter form on the Portal page and selecting 'Unsubscribe' option. All notification emails and QualityAdvantages.com newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future. |
Third Party Advertising |
We have no banner campaigns or the equivalent in place at this time though, this could change. Advertisements could appear on this Web site and may be delivered to our members by us or one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are selected. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you.
